​MINISTRIES OF THE CHURCH

​

There are many different ministries within Porter United Methodist Church that people can become involved in.

​

Throughout the year there are several small groups that meet during the week, with special classes held around the holidays.

​

  • Children are a vital part of any church. Porter UMC has an active Children's Ministries, including Sunday School which meets at 9 a.m. on Sundays (except during the summer months).   • A local AA chapter meets at 8 p.m. every Wednesday in the fellowship hall of the church. To find out more about the services AA provides, click HERE.

 

  • Thursday afternoon Bible Study is a small group that meets off & on throughout the year. Please see the calendar if they are currently meeting.

 

  • Porter UMC has a vital prayer ministry that lifts up those who request prayers. If you have a prayer need, please fill out the form HERE.
